Holding a Master Certificate in Translating/Interpreting from Leipzig University, I have worked, since 1977 as an employed, and since 1993 as a free-lance translator and conference interpreter of German – Arabic –English in Germany, all Arab countries (incl. long-term assignments e.g. in the Yemen), English speaking and other countries at conferences (G8, RENA etc.), seminars, workshops etc., in TV programmes, political and business negotiations, courts, arbitration tribunals etc.
